1. Introduction
Mokwar (“we,” “us,” “our”) provides Arabic ↔ English language services, including but not limited to translation, certified translation, interpretation, transcription, subtitling, proofreading, and language training. These Terms apply to all services provided by Mokwar, whether requested via our website, email, phone, or in person.
2. Services
All services are provided based on the information, documents, and instructions submitted by the client. Mokwar reserves the right to decline or terminate any request that includes content outside our areas of expertise (e.g., legal or medical translation), offensive material, or violates our ethical standards.
3. Quotes and Pricing
- Quotes are free and valid for 7 calendar days from the date of issue.
- Final prices are based on document word count, complexity, formatting requirements, turnaround time, and language pair.
- All quotes include a clear breakdown of services and timelines.
- Any changes to the original scope may result in additional charges.
4. Turnaround Time
Turnaround times are provided in good faith and are generally met, barring unforeseen circumstances. Delays caused by incomplete information, last-minute changes, or force majeure events are not the responsibility of Mokwar.
5. Payment Terms
- Invoices are issued upon project confirmation.
- For new clients or large projects, a partial or full upfront payment may be required.
- Payments are due within 7 days of invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Accepted payment methods include bank transfer, PayPal, or other approved methods.
- Late payments may incur additional charges or suspension of future service.
6. Confidentiality
Mokwar treats all client information and documents as strictly confidential. We do not share or disclose any materials to third parties unless required by law or with the client’s express written consent.
Digital files are handled securely and stored for a limited time for quality control purposes, after which they are permanently deleted unless the client requests otherwise.
7. Revisions and Quality Guarantee
- We guarantee the quality of our work.
- Clients may request one free revision within 5 business days of delivery, provided no changes were made to the source text.
- Additional revisions or changes beyond this period may be subject to extra charges.
- If the client is dissatisfied, we will work in good faith to address concerns, but refunds are issued only in exceptional cases.
8. Cancellation and Refunds
- Cancellation is possible before work begins with no charge.
- If work has started, the client will be charged proportionally based on completed work.
- No refunds are given for completed and delivered services unless agreed otherwise in writing.
9. Intellectual Property
Upon full payment, all rights to the translated or created content are transferred to the client. Mokwar retains no ownership unless otherwise agreed. However, Mokwar reserves the right to use anonymized project details for portfolio or internal training purposes unless the client objects.
10. Use of Website
By using our website, you agree not to engage in any activity that may interfere with its functionality or compromise its security. Unauthorized reproduction or distribution of any content from mokwar.com is prohibited.
11. Limitation of Liability
Mokwar is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services or inability to use our services, including but not limited to loss of income, missed deadlines, or reputational harm.
Our liability is limited to the amount paid by the client for the specific service.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Geneva.
13. Updates to These Terms
Mokwar reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on our website with a revised effective date.
